Picture #5 looks like it might be a snapdragon or something? #7 might be some sort of bluebell, but I can't tell because it's a bit fuzzy. #6 is what we in the Northwest call "trees" :)Jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13959637910926242468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387588.post-91758134182580959412007-06-18T11:41:00.000-04:002007-06-18T11:41:00.000-04:00Happy birthday!Happy birthday!Brechihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05745195309557148429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387588.post-55882786732301359832007-06-17T21:20:00.000-04:002007-06-17T21:20:00.000-04:00Actually, I think in #8 the yellow is called "Scot...Actually, I think in #8 the yellow is called "Scotch Broom" and then I think that's some kind of wild daisy in there with the purple thingy.Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13524483460829802534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387588.post-34869230987900112472007-06-17T14:25:00.000-04:002007-06-17T14:25:00.000-04:00Pictures 4 & 10 are foxglove, which grows wild al...Pictures 4 & 10 are foxglove, which grows wild all over Oregon, apparently. We saw a lot of it when we were there, esp. on our way out to Tillamook and the coastline. It is a poisonous plant to animals and children. The horticultural name is Digitalis purpurea...recognize the first word in that name? The synthesized compound is used to make the heart medication of the same name.

I'm jealous of the beautiful stuff you have within a short drive!Marchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07553564105572755113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8387588.post-49162488688311494872007-06-17T14:23:00.000-04:002007-06-17T14:23:00.000-04:00Creepy slug!!!BTW, Picture 3 are trumpet honeysuck...Creepy slug!!!

BTW, Picture 3 are trumpet honeysuckles.
