Damn this economy!!!!!
While driving to work this morning, I heard on NPR that Mother's Cookies filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations. They were unable to get a loan to make payroll.
Those pink and white frosted circus animal cookies were one of my absolute most-needed comfort foods for bad days. Definitive proof that George W. Bush has wrecked the country.

i could, and usually did, eat the whole bag in one sitting.
My uncle worked for Mother's cookies his whole adult life, and every christmas, I got a huge box of assorted bags of cookies.
This is depressing.
*befuddled* Bush caused a cookie factory to over extend itself and not keep enough cash on hand to meet payroll obligations from one cycle?
That's odd my company keeps about 15 million dollars in liquidity and doesn't try to meet payroll every month by getting a loan.
