Sunday Photo Blogging: Strange But True Graffiti

A couple weeks ago on my way into work I spotted this on the downtown subway platform at 181st Street: it says "Andy = Gay." Fortunately I happened to have my camera with me, so I snapped a pic. It appeared to have been written in Vaseline Intensive Care Cream, or something similar. Very odd. But I guess if people are going to leave graffiti, it might as well be temporary, true and full of Vitamin E. Posted by Picasa

What if he was talking about Andy Card? True? I think not!

Could he have been following you for a while to know where you would be at that moment; then left the message for you because he is an admirer from afar?

Well, I am always at the same spot on the subway platform at the same time every day, but "Andy = Gay" is kind of a strange message to leave, don't you think? I mean, it's kind of like...duh. I would have preferred something like "I [heart] The Last Debate" or "Andy = Stud."
