It was offered, but I had to decline it; the salary was not even remotely in the ballpark.
In the immortal words of Julie Andrews as Fraülein Maria (not yet von Trapp), "When the Lord closes a door, somewhere He opens a window." ;-)
Ugh, I'm sorry, Andy. Don't give up hope, though. Something will happen.
Well, I don't know if this is any consolation, but, Oregon is 4-0, ranked number 11, and you guys are hosting ESPN Gameday today. You should have your hands full with number 6 California, though. Needless to say, a win today would be huge for you guys! Sorry, about the bad news. We are 1-2 (0-2) conference, so I am down in the dumps about that. I think I read somewhere "weep with those who weep." =)
