She Thought Africa Was a Country

FOX News doesn't just throw Sarah Palin under the bus, they tie her to the bumper and hit the gas.

Oh, yes, the commentator is critical of Palin for not knowing that Africa isn't a country, but the dumb fuck himself uses the word "knowledgability". And the in-studio commentator lets it slide but has plenty of criticism/disbelief of Palin's inadequacies. I would never defend Palin, mind you, but if a reporter is going to criticize his subject for her lack of knowledge, he should, at the very least, be demonstrably more intelligent than his subject. But that's Fox News...a holier-than-thou bunch of sniveling illiterate hypocrites.

This is bad journalism. If there was animosity between Palin and her staffers, then why would you report the rumors of her staffers when they're as sensational as "Africa is a country"? That isn't to say it's unlikely that she doesn't know these things, but it's quite a leap to go from "anonymous staffers said she said this" to "she said this,"
