Well, look at it this way: I'm returning a fabulous 1 bedroom apartment with sunken living room and a parquet floor to the market...albeit at a rent that will probably be at least twice what it was when I got it in 1996. I'm not leaving town for another 64 days, anyway. (Yes, counting.) I just felt that if I was breaking a lease more than a year in advance, the responsible thing to do was to give the landlord 60 days' notice.
I know, but I can't imagine a bagel that has been shipped across the country -- even priority overnight -- is anywhere remotely as amazing as a fresh, hot one. Mmmmm.

Best of luck! I hope it goes well.

Big step -- congrats! There's something exhilarating about doing something big and irreversible like that. Best of luck with the big move!!

You broke your lease?
You break out, you bought it.
(Or, wait, that's something else...)
Good luck with the move!
And, giving your comment over on Hot Toasty's blog, you'll be glad to know that H&H Bagels ships anywhere in the world! ;-)
