Last night I met up with Glenn and some of his friends at Suite, the fabulous gay bar up near Columbia University.
Since Glenn is an experienced relationship guy and I am chronically single, he gave me some advice.
1: Don't say to guys you've just met, "I have two pussies."
2: Establish clearly on my blog that I have no aspirations whatsoever to turn into "Crazy Cat Lady." I am stopping at two.

Glenn also has written a fantastic meditation on faith and (self-) righteous indignation: "The opposite of faith is not doubt; the opposite of faith is certainty."

It takes a bit more than two cats to turn into Crazy Cat Lady, surely?
That said, Andy, I wonder if having a picture of her on your blog mayn't be counter-productive ...
Two pussies? Oy vey. Yeah, that should go over well! :)
Missed the Sunday Photo Blog this week. Hope you had a good weekend!
The Very Reverend Alan Jones, Dean of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco ... , wrote "The opposite of faith is not doubt; the opposite of faith is certainty."
(To attribute correctly.) (I think the cats are distracting you again ;). )
Yes, to all parts of your post. And Tony's comment too ;).
I haven't run into you yet, but if I do I'll be sure to introduce you to my big brother. He's straight, but he is a handsome devil. :)
By the way, I went to St. Patrick's for mass yesterday- with a church like that I don't see how Catholics get such a bad rap around here.
Anyways, I'll be leaving NY today, but I haven't been sworn at yet, even in the Bronx! I love New York!
I want to know what the other bits of advice were!
And when you say "Glenn is an experienced relationship guy," does that mean he's been in a stable, committed relationship for years, or he's been in lots of short relationships?
Glenn has been partnered for (I think he said) 2.5 years with a hot and smart, if Canadian, boyfriend.
If you're having some relationship issues, I suggest you check out econfidant.com. They're usually pretty good at giving out advice and resources.
Can they tell me which Manhattan gay bars attract 30-something Sean Astin lookalikes who like to be home by 10 p.m.? (Also, they must like cats.)
(I suspect you might have to try some gay bars outside of Manhattan--home by 10????)
