So who was winning the argument?
You can't argue with potted plants!
They're much too stubborn and narrow-minded
Ferns on the other hand, are relatively open minded.
Either the plant was invoking its 5th Amendment privilege to avoid self-incrimination, or it was sticking to the old adage that it's better to let someone think you're a fool than to open your mouth and prove it. Actually, come to think of it, that's the same thing.
Never mind who was winning the argument, what was the matter of their disagreement?
