The Roll of a Lifetime

From CNN, "the most trusted name in news," the folks who brought us an hour of Paris Hilton on Larry King:

Britney Spears Makes Bizarre Apology

Apparently in February she attacked a paparazzo's car with an umbrella. On Wednesday she finally apologized, saying she was "preparing my character for a roll [sic] in a movie" and "got a little carried away."

I can't believe someone finally optioned Mary Poppins 2: The Revenge.

Mmmmm roll.

I would beat someone up for a roll if I were hungry enough. With an umbrella, if need be.

Thank you for perpetuating the myth that that piece of bayou trash is noteworthy by mentioning her. The sooner all of America learns to ignore the talentless scum who plague our collective consciousness in the guise of "celebrity", the sooner they will go away and die. (No, I realise it's too late for that, and we're saddled with Brit & Kev & Linds & Jess & Anna Nicole & Paris and their ilk as our national malaise 'til California sinks into the Pacific, which if we don't fix some OTHER pressing issues, won't be 'til AFTER half of Manhattan is under water.)

I was going to say Mmmm... roll. But LF characteristically beat me to it.
