Well, Bush has always thought that "diplomacy" means getting the other guy to do exactly what you want; if you're a rich country, we offer you money; if you're a poor country, we threaten to take away aid; if that doesn't work, we bomb your ass to the stone age.
The thing about this is...you know, if I liked Bush, I'd probably find this funny. Lots of cool liberals have hilarious, off-key senses of humor. But to so many people, Bush (for whatever mysterious reason) represents this paragon of virtue. The evangelical community largely thinks he's a really good person, when really he's just a vulgar chucklehead.
