Wow, Andy, I've never had a dream where body part dismemberment became a part of the equation. Still... hopefully Swoon is wrong about the meaning(s) of the dream.

Hmmm.. Swoon sounds like BS. When it comes to interpreting dreams, it's more about how you felt about the action. So, if you cut off your own thumb, it's possible your subconscious brain feels you are getting in your own way in a situation, self-sabotage. But how did you feel when it happened? That's what really helps interpreting dreams...
