So the Times reports this morning that the judge in the Terri Schiavo case has been receiving death threats.
"The case has made him a target of religious conservatives and others who object to ending any life prematurely," says the paper.
Ummm...?

A very apt point!
I know I'm acting like a lawyer, but the exerpt does not say that those objecting to ending life prematurely are the ones making the death threats. Although I don't doubt there is some hypocrisy here, let's not misconstrue the fringe as representing the whole.

JP, I understand where you are coming from but the problem is the "fringe" winds up possessing a whole lot of power and they ultimately end up representing the whole. JF
