Thanks!...but, "cooler than Kool and the Gang" isn't setting a real high bar.

Congrats, Andy!

Hope it goes well.

Yay! Congratulations and good luck!

Consider yourself congratulated and encouraged! Did you ever decide what you are going to do about the suit situation?

Andy said...

Well, the 2nd interview will be one full week after the first one, and I'm meeting with a higher-up person this time, so I think the same suit is okay. Last time I wore it with a vibrant, rust-red colored shirt and a yellow and purple tie (no, really, trust me, it looked very couture) so I think this time if I go in with more of a banker-blue and conservative tie it will be a dramatic enough difference. Besides, it's a casual dress company. (Another reason to REALLY want this job.)

Besides, my mother bought me the suit specifically to do interviews; I have to get her money's worth!

If you were single and available, I'd marry you :)

PS - You rock! I am so happy about 2nd. interview... sorry I have been outta touch for so long. Been out of town for a week and a half. Starting to hate airports.

Andy said...

Well, Richie, single and available I am. But um...you live in Mexico. I think the commute would get to me after a while.

I guess inviting you over to Edinburgh for a post-interview drink's out as well, then?

Bugger.

If I get the job we're planning a victory happy-hour at Posh in west midtown. Hop on over!

True enough Andy, but hey... I plan to work for the UN at some point in my life. Would that be close enough (geographically speaking!).

Good luck on the interview :) I expect full details afterwards!

And... on a last note, Mexico isn't that bad of a place to live :-)
