What are you implying?

I received the following email at work this morning from an administrator:

To: Mary Jean, Therese, Andy, Maggie, Yvonne
From: Julie

Hello ladies,

Is there an office available for John tomorrow?

No, it was the person in charge of reserving conference rooms, etc.

The Aloha-chick, however, went to a "conference" all day today without telling anyone where she was going. It wasn't on her calendar and she didn't tell the boss or her assistant or the analysts. When the boss called and asked to speak to her, it was with unconcealed glee that I said, "We haven't seen her today."
