The Third Commandment

This morning some drowsy thug on the A train dropped an open bottle of grape soda into my lap. Who drinks grape soda at 8:00 a.m.?

I confess, I took the Lord's name in vain. Loudly.

He did not apologize, nor did he look like the kind of person I should press for an address to send my cleaning bill to.

Please post your cleaning suggestions below.

I like to think life has a way of catching up with such people.

As for cleaning suggestions, I don't know what works best for grape soda. Frankly, I can't remember having to deal with a grape soda stain. For stains in general, I like "Zout" (not to be confused with "Shout"). To be safe, you might want to just give it to a dry cleaner.

If it's washable you should pour cold water over the stain first and then boil a pot or kettle of water, lay the pants in the sink and pour the boiling water slowly over the stain (holding the boiling water up about a foot from the stain). If the stain doesn't come out completely pour more boiling water on it. Then put stain remover stuff on it if there is anything left and wash them.

Perhaps HE was the reason I was STUCK on the A train for 45 minutes today. I think his grape soda caused an electrical problem on the tracks. If you find him tell him that not only do you need your drycleaning done, but I need that 45 minutes of my life back. Thanks so much.

Grape soda?!?! I didn't even know they still made that stuff. Hey look on the bright side....at least it wasn't Grape w/ lime and a hint of vanilla. Sheesh.

No suggestions except if the stain is low enough on the pants, cut them into shorts. I'm not sure how the office would fancy that though.
